In this episode, we consider the readings for the Transfiguration, Year A:

Exodus 34:29-35; Psalm 99; 2 Peter 1:13-21; Luke 9:28-36.

We discuss Moses' return from the mountain and his shining face as he gave the Israelites God's commands, Psalm 99's imagery of kingship, Peter's layered imagery of Transfiguration with tabernacle and light and prophetic ministry, and the event of the Transfiguration itself.
